We are always open to accept special order work. Begin with a fax or email received from the customer. It is best if you can send a good written description of what you need along with any sketches or drawings that explain the beginning idea. When the project is needed to be completed, is also needed. One of the most helpful descriptive communication tools is if you see an example of work here that is similar to what you are looking for -- please refer to it.
Second, we reply with an email or fax to see if we are understanding who you are, and what it is you are requesting. If your answer is positive, we discuss monetary amounts and see if we are both wanting to continue.
Third, we submit a quick preliminary sketch to layout the concept and request preliminary approval from you.
Fourth, we completely negotiate prices and time required -- along with delivery arrangements. Payment terms are 50 percent down, after approval of preliminary sketches, (please note that these are sketches) not a finished product. The number of sketches requested and the amount of time required on them must be kept to a REASONABLE minimum amount.
Fifth, is the submittal to you of a more finished sketch with a request for downpayment and an agreement signature. Before the start of actual production on the project we need to receive 50% payment.
Sixth, we do the work. Most projects move smoothly with communication handled via the internet through email or on the fax machine. Phone contact is usually required. Other contact and scheduling is necessary in some circumstances.
For example, if you are wanting your motorcycle tank or truck tailgate painted it will be necessary to transport the actual pieces back and forth between us. The costs for this can vary and are added to the original negotiation prices.
